Early Access Programme – First release

You might have seen the recent buzz and news around our brand new Early Access Programme? If you haven’t, take a look at the full details on our News site: Snowflake Software kicks off Early Access Programme with WFS 2.0

The Early Access Programme (or EAP if you like), is a great new benefit for existing customers. It gives you advanced access to new product releases before they are commercially ready for release. At the Early Access stage, the products are still in development but they will have new features and functionality so you can get a technical competitive advantage and head start.

Snowflake operates the Scrum Agile software development process. This means that every two weeks we create a new build of the products we are currently working on. So you can expect frequent updates and sneak previews into what's coming up in the commercial releases.

Quality Assurance
We are able to bring you the Early Access Programme not only because of our continuing technical developments, but also because of our investment in quality.
Whilst the Early Access products are not yet commercially ready, they are rigorously tested by the Pre-Sales teams, as well as passing several fundamental quality assurance processes during the development stage, including continuous integration, automated unit and regression testing, and static code analysis.

Our first Early Access release contains additional new developments to support the OGC Web Feature Service Standard – WFS 2.0. Something that is a requirement of the INSPIRE framework.
