Snowflake Software is delighted to announce the appointment of Debbie Wilson as New Business Consultant for the Data Providers and INSPIRE markets.
Debbie brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked at a senior level within a number of organisations within the GIS sector including Infoterra where she supported clients in the development and definition of business and technical requirements, enabling them to manage and publish location-based data.
As an Application Specialist at Infoterra Ltd, Debbie worked on a wide range of Government and European projects, helping clients understand the requirements and impact of the INSPIRE Directive through the development of organisational spatial data infrastructures and enterprise information systems. Debbie also had responsibility for setting strategies and policies for improving data management processes and sharing and re-using location-based information.
This new appointment represents the third addition to the company in less than a month, reflecting Snowflake Software’s continued growth and expansion within both the UK and International marketplace. Building on this exciting growth pattern, Debbie will draw on her extensive GIS experience to provide consultancy services to Snowflake's clients, enabling them to maximise the benefits of applying new technology and open source standards to solve complex business problems.
